Annette's new door in her 1908 Bay Villa has been lovingly treated to a paint makeover in Resene Half Rivergum for the door and Resene Canterbury Clay for the frame, both painted using Resene Lustacryl semi-gloss waterborne enamel. They set off beautifully the stained glass panel of the Tui with kowhai.
Annette painted the interior of the door with Resene Qristal Clear Poly-Satin polyurethane.
Several interruptions in the busy life of a nana and the need for careful sanding and several coats both of polyurethane and paint meant it took a little time to get finished. Annette is thrilled with the result.
