Every person at Resene Paints has a role to play in ensuring that we can be proud that our products and service. Our challenge is to produce the highest quality products whilst having a low impact on our environment and a positive impact on climate change. Every person has opportunities to reduce waste, notice something that can be done better, and keep our processes in control. Accountability for our Quality and Environmental Management System lies with our Senior Management Team. However, awareness and responsibility are part of everyone’s job, and is encouraged across our supply chain through to our professional customers.

Commitment to continual improvement, environmental protection, and pollution prevention

It is our central focus to continually improve our products, to best fit the needs of New Zealand and Australian customers. This includes the climates and environments our products must perform within, protecting and enhancing historic, existing, and future building technologies and substrates. Our strategic objectives and investment decisions align with the commitment to protect our environment and further building our reputation on good integrity and the highest quality products.

Measurable and Meaningful

Resene prioritises data driven evidence on the impact and performance of our product and business activities. Allowing varied lines of communication to collect feedback across all aspects of our business is critical. Our continued engagement with ISO 9001, 14001, Eco Choice Aotearoa, and our recent efforts in Carbon Measurement and Lifecycle Analysis further help us understand how we can have a positive impact on climate change. We will seek areas where improvements can be made, led by proven frameworks and expert consultation.
