Katrin has been a great fan of Resene paints since she first started using them 16 years ago for the renovation of her first home, following the recommendations of a friend. She continues to be impressed by their durability and the brightness of colours that appear fresh even after considerable time, regardless of the paint being inside or exposed to sun and the weather outside. For these reasons, she chose Resene paints again for her recent project, the beautification of an old concrete water tank that’s supplies her home’s water.
The broad spectrum of nice colours and the viscosity of Resene paints are additional factors that make these paints an easy choice, and their opacity further adds to their value. The latter means that light colours can easily be applied over darker ones without a problem.
Resene ColorShop staff provided helpful advice as to how to revamp the water tank, as it was not a run-of-the-mill project so required advice along the way to get the best result.
The mural features a range of Resene colours – Resene Haystack, Resene Caper, Resene Green Smoke, Resene Kaitoke Green, Resene Green House, Resene Limeade, Resene Blue Chalk, Resene Aviator, Resene Candy Floss, Resene Brown Pod, Resene Bright Spark, Resene Black and Resene White, painted with the assistance of Annette Berkenbusch (mural artist).
