Cloud 9

Getting ready for her newborn son to arrive, Rebecca took a room that had once been a bedroom for her mother and then a man cave and turned it into a room perfect for a new baby.

She fell in love with an art print Metallic Feathers by Cloud 9 creative and matched it against the Karen Walker colour range from Resene; it was perfect. The lady from Endemic World advised she had used the Resene Periglacial Blue in an office and it came out darker but had a great feeling to it; she advised Rebecca to use Resene Quarter Periglacial Blue for a baby’s room.

The room had French doors, letting lots of light in; the Resene Celestial Blue opposite helps balance the room and create rest. The Resene Quarter Periglacial Blue graces the other walls with Resene Alabaster on trims. Resene Celestial Blue was used on the front of old family drawers to freshen them up. The Cloud 9 creative print takes centre stage and everything else connects into it.
