Tawhai Place, Whangarei marks the spot where a new residence has sprouted amongst established homes.

Austerely coated in Resene Judge Grey, the exterior cleverly hides the well-mixed interior palette. Inside paperfaced plasterboard walls are finished in Resene Zylone Sheen low sheen acrylic complemented by sparkling Resene Enamacryl metallic features and Resene Lusta-Glo semi-gloss enamel trims and joinery.

The breathtaking five metre high entrance gallery complete with towering four point five metre copper door is beautifully set off with Resene Kenyan Copper (deep brown red) and Resene Bison Hide (yellow tinged neutral) and an opposing wall of Resene Enamacryl Metallic tinted to Resene Blast Grey (charcoal). All combine together for instantaneous awe the minute the door is opened to guests.

Having set the scene for style, the rest of the home commands equal attention employing a subtler manner. Resene Bison Hide (yellow tinged neutral) stretches throughout the interior lifted by hues of Resene Alpine (deep mineral yellow) in the guest bedroom, Resene Matterhorn (red based grey) skirtings and doors and Resene Bossanova (inky violet) in the study on the feature and bookcasing.

Careful to place vibrant finishes in high traffic areas and subtle restful finishes in key living areas, this home provides just the right of excitement when moving through the home without detracting from the overall atmosphere of warm comfortable elegance.
