Transform an old kitchen drawer into a funky shelf unit with a little bit of help from Resene.
Fun with furniture with Mark Rayner - Project 48
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Clean cloth, filler, large clamps (x2), old kitchen drawer, paintbrush, piece of 50mm x 50mm timber cut to fit the width of the drawer, putty knife or similar, PVA glue, Resene Lustacryl tinted to Resene Wellywood, Resene Quick Dry, sandpaper, screw driver.
To get the look: Mark painted the background tongue and groove panel with Resene Lustacryl tinted to Resene Turbo.
Other ideas: For a shiny red effect, paint the drawer with Resene Enamacryl tinted to Resene Havoc.
