From the Resene News – issue Spring 2001
Up front - Residence at Norman Park, BrisbaneThe massive street frontage and fine architectural features of this private residence in Norman Park, Brisbane, had everyone scrambling to achieve a high quality finish that would be admired by all that pass by. A paint system of three coats of Resene Lumbersider satin acrylic was specified for the main exterior wall areas, supplemented by Resene Hi-Glo gloss acrylic on trims and gutters for a high gloss contrast. While two coats is the norm for a Lumbersider system, the higher film build provided by the application of the third coat ensures the longevity of the finish, enabling it to look its best for longer, thus increasing the time to first repaint. The superior performance and ease of application of Resene Lumbersider and Hi-Glo have motivated the painter to use Resene products exclusively on all other work.
