Clean slate - Scarborough residence
Wiping the slate clean took on a whole new meaning when a private residence in Scarborough, Queensland needed an exterior repaint.
Suffering from extensive chalking of the existing paint system, the substrate required good surface preparation and a sealer coat of Resene Sureseal to bind up the powdery substrate ready for the application of topcoats. The securely sealed surface was quickly topcoated with two coats of Resene Hi-Glo to complete the exterior repaint. With a rapid dry time of just two hours, the painter was able to apply both coats of Resene Hi-Glo on the same day, minimising downtime on the job and disruption to the homeowner.
