The Dome Piano Cafe Bar
Wellington's former public loos the Taj Mahal, located at the end of Courtenay Place, has reopened as The Dome piano cafe bar, flushed with gold.
The use of Resene's Enamacryl Metallic in the chosen colour Resene Dome Gold has been rolled onto the domes and brushed onto the trim acknowledging the character of the existing structure in this refurbished building.
A filling with Resene Jointflex was specified over the exterior concrete surface to fill cracks and gaps before topcoating. In addition, moody hues such as Resene Maroon, Resene Zambezi and Resene Dusty Grey create a sense of intrigue in the Dome's interior.
