How to make a toddlers toy box

Create with paint! Projects from habitat by Resene

DIY sweet toy box

Toddlers toybox

Keep it sweet and simple when it comes to keeping your toddler’s bedroom tidy. This toy box created out of a wooden crate is a clever idea for storing toys and books – and it looks great, too.

You will need: Small wooden crate, masking tape, pencil and ruler, roller and tray, artist brush and testpot brush, castors, liquid nails, Resene testpots in your choice of colours: we used Resene Alabaster, Resene Bellbottom Blue, Resene Blackout, Resene Pretty in Pink and Resene Spotlight.

Top tip: For extra sparkle use Resene FX Metallic testpots. Or use Resene FX Nightlight with a star design for a glow in the dark feature.
