To this end, The House Company selected from The Range Whites & Neutrals fandeck from Resene for most interior walls, which offers a selection of 300 colour swatches to choose from.

Walls in the living area and kitchen are painted in Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen tinted to Resene Nomad, a low-sheen, low-odour, Environmental Choice approved waterborne enamel. A feature wall in the kitchen is in Resene Kalgoorie Sands.

Resene marketing manager Karen Warman says Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen provides a durable, washable, enamel-like finish. In critical light areas, its reduced side sheen also minimises the appearance of surface imperfections.

Upper exterior walls are finished with Resene Lumbersider satin acrylic in Resene Tapa, a smoky grey. Painted exterior detailing includes corners and gutters in Resene Flint.

Resene paints were specified by The Building Company to ensure the longevity of finishes both inside and where paint is applied on the exterior and roofing. In the central living area, Resene Nomad, a light tan, was applied in a Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen finish.
