Capturing the sense of grandeur of a regal Italian home can be as simple as choosing the correct architectural style and the right finishing touches.

This home, from developer Malcolm J Lusby, features deep verandahs inspired by Italian-style Loggia homes and a high standard of fittings and finishes, says general manager David Chapman.

“Colour is central to a home’s essence, and Resene Portland was chosen for the exterior for its eye-catching, formal tone,” says Chapman. “For the interior, we chose Resene Coral to give the rooms a warm, welcoming feel.”

To help select from Resene’s extensive choice of colours, the company offers The Range, a selection of classic and contemporary hues, says marketing manager Karen Warman.

“This fandeck features tones that reflect local and international trends,” says Warman.” For each colour on the fandeck, there are three suggestions of complementary shades that will work well together.”
