Supplies for cleaning gutters
Step 1
Start by trimming back any trees overhanging your home. This not only avoids falling leaves and branches but also allows more light and warmth from the sun to reach your house during winter – important to capture if you want to reduce heating bills.
Step 2
Create your own mulch for the garden by using a wood chipper for the excess branches.
Step 3
Use a cherry picker to reach gutters safely and comfortably. Remove excess leaves and debris with a small hand held trowel.
Step 4
Use a water blaster to clean off any moss, mould and mildew from the outside and underneath your gutters to leave them looking and working like new.
