Background to mural creation:
The Under the Sea mural at Ridgway School took most of term four to complete. First students started practicing drawing techniques until each had come up with at least one drawing for the mural. All pictures were stuck onto a whiteboard so that the composition of the mural could be planned to include a variety of everyone's pictures. They started creating the mural by drawing in the background with chalk, then crayon and then students had turns at adding the paint.
