Background to mural creation: This mural was created from a class enquiry project into their bi-cultural identity and how this is visible within the school.
The mural incorporates all the values, ideals and imagery that the students felt represented them, their cultures, school, community and environment.
Workshops were held with the class to show them how the creative process, mood boards and costing could be done.
The mural took four days of painting – 37 hours in wind, rain and sunshine.
