Background to mural creation:
The mural was created to engage ten children from Year 4 to Year 6 with social problems in designing a mural that reflects the history of the school since its founding in 1914. The aim was to build unity in the group through supportiveness, friendliness, respect for each other, self-esteem, responsibility and pride. It was a successful project.
