The Red Admiral represents the wings to carry us through our lives. The Pukeko reflects wading in the waters of life. The Hectors dolphin represents the freedom to learn and grow in a safe environment. The Gecko in the forefront represents the project established to help sustain the lizard population in the Hutt City. The Wellington Weta in the forefront represents the project completed to help save the Wellington Weta from extinction. The River represents the Hutt River and teaches us all living things need water to live and grow. The hills represent the Hutt City skyline. The dawning sky represents a new day of life and learning. The sun represents natural energy resources and a celebration of our cultural heritage.
