Underwater life of the Hauraki Gulf.
Background to mural creation:
The main reason for creating the mural is for it to be used for the purpose of teaching. The mural will be a resource to teach the students about the local marine ecosystem as well as local stories/legends. Another reason for painting the mural is to create a more impactful focal point as visitors enter the marine centre.
