This mural was painted by a year 10 class of approx 26 students. Adults involved are artist Kophie Su'a Hulsbosch and teacher Rosalind Hill, who facilitated the project but students led the design and did all the painting.

Avonside Girls’ High School relocated post-earthquakes from Avonside to North New Brighton. This was their way of looking back and not forgetting where we are from and the school’s history while embracing a new chapter in their new place of belonging.
