Background to mural creation:
This mural was created to showcase the school houses: Whenua (land), Ra (sun), Tatahi (beach) and Moana (sea). There is a sailing ship which represents the school SAIL values: Show Respect and Aspire to be Involved Life-Long Learners. The mural uses the house colours red, blue, green and yellow and includes a school karakia and tamariki participating in the winter swim.
