Carinity Southside Education is a non-mainstream school that provides alternative educational pathways for girls who have experienced significant trauma. The mural was incorporated into a painting unit as part of a Year 11 Certificate II Visual Arts course offered. The theme was specifically chosen by the students, as it is a symbol of strength and perseverance.
