Mural theme:
Our school – what represents us?
Background to mural creation:
The school had a long concrete block wall that they wanted to utilise as a space to express their values and all the things important about the school. Janet de Wagt collected design ideas from all classes and helped to develop the mural around rosary beads. As a Catholic school this linked to the school’s connections to St Mary and to the Church. The candle colours are the Whanau group colours.
