Background to mural creation:
This St Patrick mural has huge significance to the St Patrick’s School community because it represents their patron saint that the school is named after.
The initial idea was to create a colourful space that would be inviting for junior students while incorporating St Patrick’s religious themes.
Once the top part of the mural was complete 70 circles were created for each child in the junior school to paint on. Each child designed their own flower, giving the wall a colourful, unique look. This allowed the children to take ownership of the mural.
