Background to mural creation:
The mural was designed to beautify the school and to encourage the students to look at all the surrounding factors that make up the Macandrew Bay environment and what is important to them. The mural was mainly designed and painted by Simon Kaan and Martin Poppelwell with the students doing drawings that were incorporated into the final painting.
