“I immediately thought of the season autumn when leaves turn to a dark orange colour.  The colour orange associated with meaning of emotional energy that should be shared, such as compassion, passion and warmth.

I thought of how branches are twisted but flowers can still grow from it.  Sometimes sisters can make you feel disappointed or hurt but they can still bring warmth and joy to your heart because you have a bond that will be hard to break.

So for my design I would like to make something that is a mix of boldness but still feminine with a lot of details. A fitted bustier attached to a short skit to show off the body and one sleeve long dress with a waistband that can be attached onto the skirt for a train effect with details of surface cording to represent the twisted branches with a touch of matching thread embroidery for the leaves and #d flowers sewn onto the branches with a few butterflies flying around. The train will be flowy when it catches the wind just like a cool breeze in autumn.”
