“My story talks about my love and boundless for my family. My family is everything to me. We may have ups and downs but that is life right. My family has been in thick and thin in life. My family is my greatest blessing in my life. They are my sources of joy, my support system, my cheerleaders and such an amazing family. My memories with my family are of when we come together and eat together and talk about how our day wet. Every Christmas Day we would do secret Santa every year. We would pick a family member’s name from a hat and buy a present for that person. On Christmas Day we would gather around in the living room and give the present. We had so much fun doing this and we would laugh and joke about our secret Santa. That’s what I love about our family. My boundless love from my family is like the moon and back.

The design for my colour, Resene Boundless, is a bold aqua. It reminds me of the life of nature with no limits. I have been struggling with things in my life and I never knew being an adult was so hard having to do things on your own, and be the woman your parents want to you to. This Resene project has given me the freedom to express my struggles and hard times. There are boundless possibilities for us if we act in god and dare to believe.

For this Resene project I designed a crop top with flare sleeves, inspired by the flower called snowdrop. The tiered ruffles of the trousers reminds me of the Christmas tree that has layers after layers. It also reminds me of the flowers that bloom so beautifully in spring.”
