Colour: Resene Deep Sea

"I was inspired by my Resene colour, name and colour of my fabric. The quietness, shapes and colours of the deep sea caught my attention.

I really loved the shapes of the coral reef. So I created a top with a round neckline, sleeveless top with peplum at waist to represent the subtle waves of the sea and a shoulder piece that looks like the coral reef. For the bottom half I made a pencil skirt, below the knee, to keep the bottom half simple and balance out the proportion of the outfit."
