Colour: Resene Leap Year

"I wonder,
I wonder what's happening in that world over there,
The streets are ignited with a captivating glare.
Unsure, but eager to discover a world far or near
Is this what will happen every leap year?

Corners suppressing a certain surprise,
My knowledge of the past compromised.
These streets illuminated with modern pride.
Old and new, bound to collide.

I stare in fear that the end is near,
I wonder what is happening in the world over there.

The meaning of leap year to me is that you are given an extra chance to go out and explore or go on a journey that is completely boundless to the familiar. My colour brings a sense of curiosity and a will to explore."
