"I took Maya's vision and curiosity as my inspiration, envisaging what it would be like for her to emerge from her bland constraints, breaking through the barriers of her ordered and structured life and embracing her newfound reality of colour and freedom. The first colour Maya encounters in her New World is this vibrant Limerick.

My direction was to capture the way the vibrant Limerick colour would envelop her as she entered this colourful world. This inspiration helped me create a sophisticated and structured look, with geometric panels representing Maya's emancipation from her society's restrictions."
