"Scrumptious signifies being outspoken, bold and strong. Through my research I came across the Gulabi Gang. The Gulabi Gang is a protest movement in India, who are identified by their bright pink saris; these 20,000 women protest to improve women's rights in India. This resonated strongly with me.
I found my inspiration from reading Maya's story of how she goes to a scrumptious place, so I wanted to create something she could wear and feel bold and strong while venturing into this new place."
