Everyone knows oiled furniture needs to be re-oiled annually to keep its good looks... but for most the plan to re-oil rapidly slips away with the passing of time.

Initial supply of predominantly interior furniture to family and friends, followed by a request for some Cape Cod style furniture from the local real estate agent was all the motivation needed for formalising the business.

All furniture is painted to keep it looking good for years - well beyond the aesthetic lifetime of the normal oiling process.
