The use of Resene paints as toys or in the manufacture of toys

AS/NZS ISO 8124.2:2003 Safety of Toys outline the properties expected for toys with respect to mechanical and physical properties, flammability and the migration of certain elements. The sections relevant to paint relate to flammable liquid and the migration of certain elements.

Resene Paints Ltd is confident that the following products designed as architectural paints are appropriate for use on toys and for sale as toys.

Flammable liquids sold as toys must be sealed in individual containers and have a maximum volume of 15mls per container. Those products with an * are classified as flammable liquids.
