Resene Beeswax on ceilingsNew meets old
Brad's home is a 1903 villa, which is believed to have originally had three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchenette and bathroom/washroom. In 1995 the back of the house was extended by the previous owner adding a fourth bedroom, larger kitchen/dining room, attic and second bathroom.

Since then Brad has enjoyed renovating the inside of the villa in a style which is a good mix between modern bold colours and original features. Some parts of the house had been lost or damaged while other areas needed to incorporate modern conveniences.

Resene products are used throughout the home. All of the wooden and pressed tin ceilings have been sprayed with Resene Beeswax and the same on all of the doors and most windows and skirtings, but in a semi-gloss finish. Bedroom one now has Resene Lemon Grass on the walls, bedroom two Resene Streetwise and bedroom three and the red living room are wallpapered. The hallway is painted in Resene Equator and the kitchen/dining is finished in Resene Panzano.

The project is still underway with other interior areas to finish off before tackling the outside.
