Washed new lookHaving moved into their newly purchased home, the Curtis family loved the location but didn’t love the dark brick exterior. They decided to bagwash the house, which turned out to be a rather large job that consumed quite a few weekends. They started by washing down all the bricks, then experimented with the look on the back wall to get the right finish. Craig then mixed mortar and pointed every gap between the bricks, next was a cement slurry, which he brushed over the bricks, which was finally finished in paint. Resene Pavlova was used on main wall areas and Resene Half Sea Fog on soffits. The Palm Tree on the front of the house was also made by Craig. With the walls complete, the next on the list is the front door, fences and landscaping.
