Border inspiration
After moving to a new house Anna decided to paint her son Ben's room.

Resene Bunting was selected for the bottom colour as it would be less likely to show marks and dirt and Resene Sisal for the top colour as it works well with the wood features. The Resene Sisal and Resene Bunting combination fits well as it has a masculine feel and shouldn't feel too babyish as Ben ages. Anna used a border of farm animals from Resene to tie the colour combination together.

The biggest challenge was removing an existing border, existing growth charts and pink teddy bear pictures cleanly before painting.

The wardrobe, previously light grey, was painted in Resene Bunting to tie in with the rest of the room.

The border became the inspiration for the pictures created using Resene testpots in a mix of hues including Resene Pumpkin, Resene Chambray, Resene San Juan, Resene Well Read, Resene Barossa, Resene Fahrenheit and Resene Chalky. The set of drawers were painted in Resene Barossa and Resene Chambray to complete the striking finish.
