Her bedroom is painted in Resene Lilac Bush as a stunning feature wall with the other three walls in Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream and the ceiling in Resene Alabaster, a colour continued from the rest of the flat.

Inside the wardrobe is Resene White Pointer, a colour that has also been used elsewhere in the flat. Colleen’s lounge walls are painted in Resene Symphony to continue with the sweet colour palette.

The bedspread was found on a weekend away in Wellington. It was somewhat unplanned so it took all the suitcase space available and the clothes that were in the suitcase were taken back by a friend. As Colleen says “the things we do for décor matching”. Colleen also added new curtains and a green mohair throw. The paint and painter cost less than the accessories, but Colleen loves the look.
