Before and after pictures tell the story. This weathered deck was transformed in a matter of hours, thanks to the new Resene Kwila Timber Stain.
Even hardwood decking eventually weathers when it is exposed to sun and rain for years on end. And while it may not rot, its appearance can suffer.
Before
After
It doesn’t have to stay this way, however. Resene Kwila Timber Stain offers an easy way to rejuvenate your decking and outdoor furniture. As well as adding a new lease of life to tired wood surfaces, it can also protect new decking.
Resene marketing manager Karen Warman says while the stain is primarily designed for use on kwila timbers, it is suitable for use on all exterior timber decks and furniture – even those that are badly weathered.
“Resene recommends treating new timber with the stain before assembly, paying special attention to the underside of decks,” she says. “These areas will be difficult to coat after the deck has been assembled. All faces of the timber should be treated, including the end grains.”
Available in 1, 4 and 10-litre packs, Resene Kwila Timber Stain can be applied by professional or DIY painters.
The stain is showcased in the new Resene Woodsman colour chart, making it easy to select the right exterior wood stain for your project.
