Rejuvenate timber decking and outdoor furniture so it looks like new. Resene Kwila Timber Stain is suitable for all types of timber.
While most people choose decking timber for its durability, this doesn't mean your deck will continue to look like new for years to come. More than likely, the weather will take its toll on the surface, leaving it in need of some attention.
Before
After
There is an easy way round this problem, however. Resene Kwila Timber Stain can protect new decks, and it can also be used to rejuvenate weathered surfaces.
Resene marketing manager Karen Warman says while the stain is primarily designed for use on kwila timbers, it is suitable for use on all exterior timber decks and furniture – even those that are badly weathered."
Resene recommends treating new timber with the stain before assembly, paying special attention to the underside of decks," she says. "These areas will be difficult to coat after the deck has been assembled. All faces of the timber should be treated, including the end grains."
Available in 1, 4 and 10-litre packs, Resene Kwila Timber Stain can be applied by professional or DIY painters. The stain is showcased in the new Resene Woodsman colour chart, making it easy to select the right exterior wood stain for your project.
