Resene paints feature in the new fitout for Café IT.
Bright colours and metallic looks that hint at the technology on hand are the buzz in the new internet cafés. Resene paints fit the bill.
Café fitouts have come of age. Just as the number of coffee connoisseurs is increasing, so is the requirement for cafes that reflect the latest design trends.
Café IT in Hamilton is a good example of the new breed of eateries that not only offer good coffee, but also provide internet facilities. The café fitout combines strong colours, metallic finishes and Zincalume for a high-tech look. The concrete floor and MDF computer booths feature Resene Vinyl Etch topped with Resene Enamacryl Metallic in Blast Grey and protective acrylic topcoats of Resene Aquaclear. Resene Lumbersider satin acrylic in Lima features on the walls, while Resene Zylone 20 flat acrylic in Tolopea (deep purple) is used on the ceiling to contrast the steel-like metallic finishes. The whole look is softened with the use of Resene Polythane high-gloss on the macrocarpa benchtops.
Le Sedi Café in Waihi Beach also features bright colours, including Resene Orient on the interior.
The Resene Metallics and Special Effects chart is available from Resene ColorShops or you can order a copy online.
