Background to mural creation:
Originally the area the mural is painted was a big metal box or walk-in cooler for the kitchen and one of the first things that are viewed as you walk into the cafe's courtyard. The plants that are chosen are from the surrounding garden, to make the mural a part of the space, not a visual eyesore, yet still be vibrant and tell of the rich, long history of the cafe.
