Background to mural creation:
Within the intermediate hub, there are four teachers working with 90 children. They are divided into four home groups - ‘The Coast’, ‘The Plains’, ‘The Forest’ and ‘The Mountains’ – all being synonymous with Canterbury. The mural illustrates the home groups and the words on the signs talk about some of the features that are special to year 7 and 8 at this school.
