Thank you to the thousands of people that donated to the Resene Canned Food for Christchurch collection - they are much appreciated. The Resene collection is now closed.

Thanks to your efforts tens of thousands of cans were donated and sent to the Salvation Army and pallet loads of other goods to the Christchurch Women's Refuge. Both organisations were extremely grateful for the donations, which have helped thousands of Christchurch residents.

Help Christchurch with cans

Resene staff nationwide are joining together to collect as many cans of non-perishable food as possible to help feed those in Christchurch who need ongoing help as they recover from Tuesday’s devastating earthquake. If you can spare any non perishable canned food, please donate it to your nearest Resene owned ColorShop and Resene will arrange to get it to Christchurch in conjunction with the Salvation Army to ensure it gets to where it’s needed most.

Canned food donations can be made to any Resene owned ColorShop by 31 March 2011 during normal shop opening hours. Resene ColorShops accepting canned food donations are:
