I imagine Anahera as someone who has broken the chains of all those who doubted her because she is a woman. She knows the real power lies in a woman’s choice to dress herself rather than follow religious uniform.

In the dead of night, Anahera makes an outfit. Pink, like the sun setting, representing love and boundless freedom. She shows flesh where she likes and is unafraid of the women’s figure. Anahera knows that the REAL power is not how she dresses herself but that she has the choice.

My design was inspired by the Anahera’s story. I wanted to play the idea of how woman are expected to dress. I masculinised the woman’s figure by designing pants rather than a skirt and an asymmetric bodice with a tailored lapel this was my interpretation of dressing to the antithesis of how the man would expect.
