Fungus comes to mind, how the shapes and colours are so unique and strong, but beautiful. The layers and detail of such a natural object is mesmerising and eye catching.
Resene colour Leap Year is a soothing colour, it gives out a calm feeling when it meets the eye.
When designing this garment I wanted to create a Bohemian vibe choosing a loose fitting and flowing silhouette.
When creating my design I wanted to focus an adding a few features of fungi by including pleats and panels, but also when looking at the garment as a whole I wanted to create a peaceful feel.”
