Anahera had always stood against societies take on creativity.

She didn’t believe in trends or following the majority.

It was against her nature.

Fashion for her had no limits, no expectations.

She hungered for the originals, the individualists, the unexpected.

As she reflects back on her journey, she outburst in prayers of gratitude, thankful that she got to see just that.

People following their own inner creator, their own tempo.

There was a movement, a change happening and it was popping.

It was about time society took a seat.

Anahera asked herself ‘why do we create?‘ And the simple fact was we would never be satisfied with life if we didn’t. We wouldn’t be able to function without it.

As weird as it may seem, Anahera felt most creative and stimulated when shed lay on her trusty, green tufted couch. It was a deep kind of green, giving off a hint of blue, fully embellished with shiny gold domed buttons, each tucked in their own little crevices.

If she could she would wear that couch.

Idea’s, thoughts or what she called ‘BINGO‘ moments flowed out of her like a freestyle rapper spitting bars.

Green gave her significance, a connection. The sight of it was like having your own therapy session with a counsellor. She would let it all out with no apologies.

Anahera can’t be contained, she doesn’t fit into a box nor does she belong in one. Try and strap her down, she find a way out.

Creating is her calling, and that she follows.

Inspiration... was drawn from a tufted couch, my color BINGO and the issue of society and the over obsession of wanting to be the same.
