“I’ve learnt that fashion, like other forms of art, is subjective. But through this project my appreciation and interest in different approaches to design has grown tremendously.
With my design, I tried to create something that was different from my previous garments and something that people would not have expected from me.
My biggest influences have always been the musicians, artists and films that I liked currently and growing up. These things have given me a sense of identity, so I’ve always been more interested in clothing in the context of identity, culture and the connotations it carries with it. “
