Colour: Resene Poppy

"Poppies are symbolic of dreams and induced escapes. Lying in a field of gently swaying poppies I wanted to create something bold and feminine. The need for escape is her restriction and guilt. I have interpreted this with a cinched waist band, which not only creates a powerful statement but adds the restriction to the flowy free dress. The fabric is folded to create feather like texture and movement.

Keeping my look modern and contemporary with flattering proportions I have raised the front neckline and cut it down the collar bones while leaving the back open, which again adds a contemporary feel and a feeling of rebellion."
