Colour: Resene Irresistible

"My Resene colour is Resene Irresistible. Resene described this colour as a red of ultimate desired, indelibly bright and impossible to ignore. This is what I wanted people to think when seeing my design. While researching I found pink means cute, playful, femininity and romance and that it is the colour of universal love for yourself. These are what I want my woman to feel when wearing my design. I want them to feel irresistible. Upon researching my colour more, I found that pink is typically associated with flowers, which also inspired me, looking at flowers and their structure. I was drawn to the way they overlapped each other and have recreated this in my design. I was also drawn to the way the petals fell and curled into themselves. This reminded me of ruffles so I put a ruffle falling from a panel in the skirt, starting from the left side hip and finishing at the centre hem."
