I’ve incorporated this colour into my whole concept idea by starting my journey with Anahera’s story. What strikes me most is that she is an independent driven individual with confidence and freedom.

The importance of this is a reflection of our society and this day and age in particular where we have so many young creative individuals expressing ideas without limits or boundaries - a generation which is always consuming and constantly moving forward.

Portraying this theme, I looked into visual aspects and objects. I incorporated artwork by George Condo which captures a sense of vulnerability and modern minimal architectural design, contrasting the raw and heavy pleats of the garment merged with a thick antique gold.

The simplicity of structure and shape which have strong authorities and capturing the masculine blue essence of the colour Zinzan, the garment has a bravado of its own. And combined with any woman it is a free form of speech made visually.”
