Painting cratesCrate mates

Paint wooden crates in a range of fun colours for easy shelving and storage.

You will need:

Step 1
Paint the crates the various colours. If you want a stained effect, use Resene Colorwood instead.

Step 2
Decide on your hanging arrangement. If you are using the shelves in a cluster, fix together with liquid nails. Attach hanging bars to the back, and hooks to the wall.

Different ways to hang the shelves
There are many ways you can hang your three shelves, just play around for the best effect.
